We biked from the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Center to the Stan Bassett Youth Center in Ellensburg (+- 100 miles) over 5 days. Our shortest day was 19 miles and our longest was 29 miles (we rode just enough the 1st day to double-check everyone's bikes and to make sure we knew where to go the next day to start). This route took us through a three mile tunnel, and a few smaller ones. Beautiful scenery, great campgrounds to stay in along the way. One had mini-golf, a pool table, air hockey, etc. We planned for cooking good food along the way (pancakes, eggs, burgers, steaks, chicken salad, etc.). Our scouts had a great time. I would recommend this for younger to middle aged scouts - 11-14, with plenty of adult support and a couple of chase cars. Older scouts may need more to do.

Beautiful trail, easy grade the entire way. Lots of nice views of the area. Cool old tunnels and avalanche shelters. Eagle Valley Campground was awesome and we were able to spend the afternoon there (it was a short day) playing mini-golf, air hockey, pool, etc. There are options for fishing along the way, though we didn't do those. There is a railroad museum along the way that is worth stopping at and checking out, and ties in well with the historical piece of the trail.
